Counselling Fees and Insurance

Professional Memberships

(1) Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #18216) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BC-ACC).

(2) Counselling Therapist (#2453) The Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta (ACTA).

Counselling Fees

Individual counselling is $140 per session (55 to 60 minutes).

Please note that under certain circumstances I base my fees on a sliding scale. If you need therapy but are not sure if you can afford it, please contact me and talk to me about it. Perhaps we can work something out.

Insurance Coverage

Supplemental medical insurance plans usually cover therapy with an RCC in British Columbia. Some employers have health-spending accounts which may be used. If you don’t have insurance that covers the counselling, the fees may be tax deductible, but you should check with your accountant.

Kindly check if your insurance policy covers counselling with an RCC in British Columbia. The first 20-minute consultation by phone or zoom is free for the counsellor and client to explore if they are right fit.

Please feel free to contact me to explore counselling or schedule your first free 20-minute consultation.
